| Cantor Ministry |
| St. Patrick’s Church is blessed to have 7 volunteer Cantors who currently serve at the 5:00 Vigil, 7:30, 9:00, and 11:00 am liturgies on a rotating basis as well as other important feasts and holidays throughout the year. The Cantor is responsible for proclaiming the Psalm and encouraging congregational singing during the hymns and acclamations at mass. Ongoing training in singing, music, and liturgy is encouraged through rehearsals with the Director of Music and workshops. New Cantors are always welcome, but the ability to learn music independently and a strong singing voice are preferred. For more information, please contact John Higgins at 860-632-7283 or email at jphigg@comast.net. |
