The Wheel System

The wheel system is setup designed to help our Youth Ministry run. It allows for multiple levels of commitment and for all involved to strengthen and utilize their faith in multiple ways.

Currently, the three main components of Saint Patrick Youth Ministry are Saint Patrick Youth Group, Youth Ministry Planning Team (Y.M.P.T.), and our Peer Ministry program. These three components fall under the "umbrella" of Saint Patrick Youth Ministry and they are intertwined to create an opportunity for involvement regardless of age or present faith level.

We have five specific areas of Ministry. They are: Praise, Prayer, and Worship; Religious Education; Guidance; Community Building; and Justice, Peace and Service.

Justice, Peace and Service: Serving the community in Christ's name
Such as:Soup Kitchen, Food Bank, Volunteer work, Right to Life, CropWalk, Walk for Autism, Relay for Life

Religous Education:Educating the word to ourselves and the community
Such as:CCD instruction/aide, Faith Sharing, Witnessing, Moral Discussion

Community Life:Growing in Faith and Friendship through fun activities
Such as:Social Activities, Fundraisers, Rec-Nite, Ski Trips, Camping

Guidance: Supporting each other in our faith journey
Such as:Retreats, Prayer Groups/Partners, Tutoring, One on One

Praise, Prayer and Worship: Celebrating and exclaiming our faith together
Such as:Prayer Services, Music Ministry, Lector, Alter Servers,Youth Mass
