Youth Group Our Youth Group is geared towards a core group of students, grades 6,7, and 8, but is open to all students right through high school and beyond. Through events planned by YMPT, participants can be involved in Youth Rallies, Evenings of Reflection, Moral Discussions, Santa's Helpers Day, Ice Skating, Volleyball, Ski and Snowboarding at Powder Ridge, Mini Golf, Movie Trips, and Hockey games to name a few. Perhaps the most popular event is what we call Rec-Nite. On the fourth Friday of most months, Rec-Nite occurs in our Parish Hall and consists of volleyball, ping-pong, movies, games, music and good clean fun. We gear our Rec-Nite to a theme, Mexican Night for instance, which always adds to the fun. All events look to provide safe and inviting atmosphere where friendships are easily made. Whether its worship, service or just plain fun, we grow as a group, closer to God and each other. |
